MATERIALS: Tests as 14ct Gold throughout, Boulder Opal (1.65ct), Diamond. 

STAMPS: 'RAM' Makers mark, '585', Edinburgh Assay Mark on the back of the bale. 

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

Not to be confused with a doublet or triplet, she is a natural solid gemstone, not a composite or man-made gem! The Opal has a glossy finish and displays a wonderful rare red and pink sheen which is the most valuable colour play to be found in natural Opals. The Diamond is securely set, adding a subtle sparkle. The 14ct Gold is buttery and smooth, holding both gemstones securely in place. Complete with a large bale, you can suspend this mid-century pendant from a chain with ease and revel in her splendour for years to come!
